Mike Budenholzer, the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, was arrested early this morning in Holbrook, Arizona. According to police, Budenholzer was driving under the influence of alcohol when he was pulled over. He was taken into custody and booked into the Navajo County Jail.
Budenholzer's arrest comes just days after the Bucks finished the regular season with the best record in the NBA. The Bucks are scheduled to begin their playoff run on Saturday, and it is unclear whether Budenholzer will be able to coach the team.
Budenholzer has been the head coach of the Bucks since 2018. He has led the team to two Eastern Conference Finals appearances and one NBA Finals appearance during his tenure.
