In 1987, she landed her breakthrough role as Lois Lane in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. She reprised her role in Superman Returns in 2006.

Marriage to Christopher Reeve

In 1992, Dana Reeve married actor Christopher Reeve. The couple had one son, William "Will" Reeve. In 1995, Christopher Reeve was paralyzed in a horse-riding accident. Dana Reeve became his primary caregiver and advocate.
