Unbeaten Premier League Season

2003-04: A Season For The History Books

The 2003-04 Premier League season was a historic one for Arsenal Football Club. The Gunners went unbeaten throughout the entire campaign, becoming the first team to achieve this feat in the 38-match era of the competition.

Arsenal won 26 games and drew 12 during the season, amassing a total of 90 points. They scored 73 goals and conceded just 26, boasting the league's best defensive record.

The Gunners' unbeaten run actually stretched to 49 games, dating back to the previous season. They eventually lost 2-0 to Manchester United in October 2004, ending their incredible streak.

Arsenal's success in 2003-04 was due in no small part to the quality of their squad. The team featured a number of world-class players, including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, and Sol Campbell.

Arsène Wenger's side also benefited from a strong team spirit and a never-say-die attitude. They were able to come from behind to win on several occasions, and they always seemed to find a way to get the job done.

The 2003-04 season was a truly special one for Arsenal fans. The team's unbeaten run will go down in history as one of the greatest achievements in English football.
