A Time to Remember, Reflect, and Celebrate
Stolzmonat is a month-long celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) pride that takes place in June. It is a time to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969, which marked a turning point in the gay rights movement. Today, Stolzmonat is celebrated around the world with parades, festivals, and other events.
In addition to being a time to celebrate, Stolzmonat is also an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. While much progress has been made, there is still much work to be done to achieve full equality for LGBTQ+ people.
