Strong Performance Driven by Gaming, Data Center, and Automotive Segments

NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) today reported financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2025, ended April 28, 2024. The company achieved record quarterly revenue of $26.0 billion, up 18% from the previous quarter and up 26.2% from a year ago.

The strong financial performance was driven by growth across all of NVIDIA's business segments. The Gaming segment, which accounts for the majority of the company's revenue, grew 23% year-over-year to $10.0 billion. The Data Center segment grew 17% to $4.3 billion, and the Automotive segment grew 32% to $1.3 billion.

NVIDIA also highlighted its progress since its previous earnings announcement. The company announced that it has begun shipping its new H100 data center GPU, which is designed to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) workloads. NVIDIA also announced that it has secured a number of new automotive design wins, including with Ford Motor Company and General Motors.

The company's strong financial performance and continued progress in its key growth areas bode well for the future. NVIDIA is expected to continue to benefit from the growing demand for its products in the gaming, data center, and automotive markets.
