Bvb Marcel Sabitzer Kritisiert In Bruegge Seine Rolle Unter Nuri Sahin

BVB: Marcel Sabitzer criticizes his role under Nuri Sahin in Bruges

Sabitzer unhappy with playing time at BVB

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has criticized his role under head coach Nuri Sahin in an interview with Sky.

The Austria international has struggled for game time this season, starting just six of Dortmund's 14 Bundesliga matches.

Sabitzer: "I'm not happy with my situation"

"I'm not happy with my situation," said Sabitzer.

"I want to play more, but the coach has other ideas."

"I respect the coach's decision, but I don't agree with it."

Sabitzer's comments come after he was left out of the starting lineup for Dortmund's 3-0 defeat to Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Dortmund in January, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested.

However, Sabitzer has said that he is not thinking about leaving the club.

"I'm not thinking about leaving Dortmund," said Sabitzer.

"I'm still under contract here and I want to fight for my place in the team."

"I'm confident that I can turn things around and become a regular starter for Dortmund."
