Refsnyder Oneill Hit 2 Hrs Each As Red Sox Beat Orioles 12 3

## Refsnyder, O'Neill Hit 2 HRs Each as Red Sox Beat Orioles 12-3 ### Boston's bats came alive in a big way on Saturday at Fenway Park, as Trevor Story, Alex Verdugo, and Reese McGuire also went deep in the team's 12-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. #### A much-needed win for Boston, who had now won their last six consecutive games. The Orioles, meanwhile, have now lost six in a row. #### Boston jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Refsnyder took Jordan Lyles deep for a two-run homer. After Baltimore got one back in the second, O'Neill answered with a solo shot of his own in the third inning. #### The Red Sox broke the game open in the fourth inning with four more runs, all via solo homers from Story, McGuire, Verdugo, and O'Neill. Baltimore would tack on one more in the fifth, but Refsnyder would put the game away in the sixth with his second homer of the day. #### Rich Hill got the start for Boston and allowed just one run on three hits over four innings of work. Josh Taylor, Kaleb Ort, and Ryan Brasier combined to allow just two runs over the final five innings of the ball game to close out the victory. #### The win moves Boston to 41-45 on the season, now just two and a half games behind the final AL Wild Card spot. The Orioles drop to 32-57 on the year. #### The two teams will meet again on Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park in the series finale.
